THE BAND

Founded by Bob DeLellis & Kurt Griffey, Tour Support brings some of the best singers and songs together from the past four decades. Delivered and backed by world-class musicians with decades of combined experience with bands such as Eddie Money, RATT, Rough Cutt, & The Gregg Rolie Band, Tour Support and their long list of celebrity vocalists is a must see.

Tour Support is also available in a duo format performing some of the greatest hits of the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s & 00s. We are available for corporate events, private events, and local clubs. Please use the contact form to inquire about using Tour Support for your next event.

MEET THE BAND:


Bob DeLelis with Eddie Money

Bob “Bobby D” DeLellis (guitar, vocals – Eddie Money) – Formerly of Ratt and Rough Cutt, and a long-time CA sideman for Eddie Money. Bob is an incredibly multi-talented studio & stage musician with thousands of hours of stage experience who has performed & recorded with Eddie Money & many others. Singled out and described as “…charisma plus, probably the most underrated talent in town” while in RATT, Bob brings fiery guitar playing and excellent vocals to the Tour Support Band!

 


Kurt Griffey with CCR

Kurt Griffey (guitar, vocals – CCR) – Kurt Griffey is one of the premier musicians of today. As a guitarist, songwriter, producer, and performer, he has recorded and toured with some of the greatest musicians of all time including members of, the Eagles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Toto, Steppenwolf, Foreigner, the Moody Blues, Wings, the Spencer Davis Group, Lynyrd Skynryd, Santana, Journey and Eddie Money and Kurt’s TV/Film credits include Project Alert, Celebrity Sports with Jim Belushi, Live with Regis and Kathie Lee, The Weather Channel, KTLA morning news and Chicago’s UPN Morning Show.

Dave Coyle with the World Classic Rockers

Dave Coyle (guitar, vocals) – Dave, Bob, and Kurt have been friends for years, and Dave is the “go-to” guy to fill in for Kurt when he is not available.  Dave was also “the guy” Kurt picked to take his place in The World Classic Rockers when he left to join The Gregg Rolie Band.  Dave currently performs with multiple classic rock all-star bands including The Voices of Rock Radio and the World Classic Rockers.  The impressive list of current and past celebrity artists Dave has played with includes members of Journey, Steppenwolf, Santana, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Boston, The Eagles, Kanas, Ambrosia, and the list goes on and on.  Dave is also an incredibly multi-talented studio & stage musician with decades of stage experience.  Dave went to college on the G.I. bill after serving in the Navy and graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering and a minor in music.  Dave is a great musician, a great guy, and one of the most intelligent people you’d ever meet.

PAST MEMBERS:


Randy Forrester (keyboards, vocals) – Randy hails from Memphis, TN, where he grew up surrounded by the sounds of R&B and Soul music.  Not long after arriving in California, blues guitar legend Elvin Bishop heard Randy play and offered him a position in his recording and touring band. For the next decade or so, Randy recorded 3 albums with Bishop on the Alligator Record label and toured internationally regularly.

In the mid-1990s, rock legend Eddie Money asked Randy to join his band, and for the next 12 years he toured non-stop with Money, performing no less than 100 shows per year. Randy recorded 2 albums with Money before taking on the task of producing the artist’s last studio album, WANNA GO BACK, in 2006.



Trent Stroh (bass, vocals) – A long-time bassist and vocalist for Eddie Money and touted as “the best bassist/singer” ever to be a member of the Eddie Money Band, Trent is a Los Angeles area based professional performer and instructor, who attended the influential Dick Grove School of Music where he studied with Joel Di Bartolo (the “Tonight Show”) and Tim Emmons (L.A. session bassist) and has studied privately with Steve Bailey (Victor Wooten, Bass Extremes).

Trent’s touring history includes an impressive array of artists including seven years with Eddie Money, dates with Robert Palmer, Nancy Sinatra, classic rock stars America, Wayne Kramer of MC5 fame, and many other major recording artists and producers.  Trent is a great addition to Tour Support!!


Ron Wikso (drums, vocals – Gregg Rolie Band) – Ron Wikso has been a friend of Gregg’s since their days together as members of The Storm. Ron was instrumental in bringing Gregg back to the forefront of the music scene when he encouraged him to record the new album, “Roots”, on which Ron played drums and shared engineering and co-production duties. As Gregg says, “it’s all Ron’s fault!” He has also played with many notable artists over the years, including Cher, Foreigner, David Lee Roth (Van Halen), Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi), Creedence Clearwater Revisited and many others.
